Sam Penceal

A retired award winning middle school principal, Sam trains school administrators, their school teams and community volunteers who work with school districts to improve student academic achievement with an emphasis on nutrition, financial literacy and gang violence reduction. As a tennis teaching professional certified by the Profession Tennis Registry Sam has trained aspiring tennis teachers since 1978. He has directed the all volunteer Free Family Tennis and Reading Program at the Fred Johnson Park [known as The Jungle] in Harlem since 2010. A parent must participate. Students receive books weekly which the share with a friend when they are read.
